Under the aegis of the Aparna Novel Society for Welfare and Research (ANSWER), Aparna Enterprises Limited is supporting the noble cause of childhood education and welfare. Aparna Enterprises Limited tackles the core of damaged societies- the lack of equity in education. We are ensuring that every child has access to quality education, making them feel included with a sense of belonging and shared successes. The focus here is investing in children’s futures, building bridges and breaking barriers.
Established in May 2007, ANSWER aims to drive a change to several young minds in the last 17 years since its inception. Through the initiative, ANSWER has helped in building hope for vulnerable children and it stands committed to transforming lives through education.
The vision of ANSWER is to provide education facilities to needy children and through education, give them an equal opportunity for success in the world. ANSWER provides an environment of holistic well-being, protecting children from the daily trauma of violence, neglect, abuse, lack of emotional care and poverty that unfortunately prevail in our modern society. According to research, over 70% of kids in India have been abused due to the aforementioned factors. ANSWER focuses its efforts on making them ideal citizens of the country.
Empowering youth through education
ANSWER emphasises giving education to the fullest as it is the most effective tool to empower the next generation, with improvised skills and knowledge for a meaningful career. Young minds inherit problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities because of consistent efforts.
We ensure an upliftment of confidence, enabling children to pursue their dreams and visions while abiding by morals and values such as respect, responsibility, and empathy. This exposure introduces children to diverse cultures, broadens their understanding, and provides global perspectives.
How Do We Empower Children Through ANSWER?
All children are observant and smart, but not all of them get to realise it due to the lack of resources(every child is born intelligent, we only need to channelise and shape them just like in pottery). Through ANSWER we aim to empower children to build a sustainable future for their individual wellbeing and the country as well!
Instilling positive self-esteem
Present-case children have critical thinking in determining their future. ANSWER’s focus is to provide kids with the right atmosphere which will get them focused on their activities leading to their dreams. Our initiatives deals with the encouragement and nurture that kids need in order to believe in themselves to be better individuals in society fostering emotional and physical wellbeing. We achieve the aforementioned agenda by assisting the children in developing resilience, a room for learning and reinventing and the process of trying again to succeed.
Stress Management
Stress is a topic that is usually overlooked as far as children are concerned. In ANSWER, we assist children to express their opinions and set up reasonable scope for them to open up which would help them have personal characteristics to do better in school and to accomplish their professional and personal ambitions. We also insist on healthy physical activities and making them get enough sleep and rest simultaneously maintaining good eating habits to promote discipline. Navigating children’s physical and mental strength effectively builds hope in vulnerable children.
Promoting Equity in Education
ANSWER exists to provide equal educational opportunities to children in the most effective way ensuring the appropriate access to learning resources and up-to-date technology. We aim to foster children with a quality lifestyle achieved through education to escape the peaks of deprivation, children face through the lack of facilities.
Furthermore, ANSWER identifies the barriers to quality education, including transportation, internet facilities, language barriers, etc. This gives the push for the children to participate in more educational activities, giving them a scope to explore the realm of education for improving themselves as well as society.
We aim to provide the children with the best education as we believe that education plays a vital role in empowering the children creating a future for them to be seen as equals in society. Irrespective of the hindrances and obstacles that they faced earlier. In short, our focus is to give equity in education while ensuring equal early life conditions.
Navigating teen years
Through ANSWER, we stay committed to building hope for vulnerable children and fostering emotional and physical health. This is because the teenage phase could be seen as a crucial time where one life and decisions impact the rest of their life. During this important time, we work on providing for the children rightly as it can alter an individual’s life profoundly.
We work towards giving an awareness to the teens of the possibilities available to them as far as decision-making is concerned. We also give them an insight into the aftermath of the decisions to ensure that the teens are fully immersed and aware of the decisions they make, helping them to choose the best ones for themselves.
At ANSWER, we help the children understand their situation and help them comprehend the problem they endure the right way.
We then do the following;
1.Analyse the choices, to provide better knowledge.
2.To evaluate the choices made. listing the pros and cons.
3.We also compare the outcomes.
4.Towards the end, we give them the space to determine their decision.
ANSWER enables young minds to make more informed decisions, as we try to achieve the goal of giving them a better understanding and helping them to articulate the situation they are experiencing in a better manner.
