After the state has been separated from Telangana, the AP government has been working to build its infrastructure rapidly to catch up with already developed states Andhra Pradesh Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (APTIDCO) was established as a government syndicate to take up the task of integrated township and Infrastructure development across the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the state level nodal agency for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) with capabilities of holistic planning, development, financing and implementation of affordable housing in the state, under Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department so as to ensure effective coordination of functioning among the key institutional stakeholders.
Aparna Enterprises Limted’s VITERO tiles are approved by APTIDCO and are selected by contractors to supply Vitero’s flagship product double charged vitrified tile. As of June 2018, Vitero has sullpied more than 1 million square feet of tiles to several projects that fall under APTIDCO.
